Smartbaits new line of "pro tour" colors

Smartbaits is proud to introduce our new line of "pro tour" colors - you spoke; we listened!

The feedback from several pro anglers at major tour events was that Smartbaits should create these special color-changing patterns.

Now available in our Smart Bomb senko style bait there are four new “bass bustin’” color schemes created just for you:

1. Watermelon changing to pumpkinseed (004)

2. Watermelon changing to June bug on one side with an all black bottom on the other side (005)

Reno Viola on Smartbaits Color Changing Lures

Canadian Fishing Legend Reno Viola's thoughts on Smartbaits

Reno Viola - RenoViolaOutdoors

When I first heard about Smartbaits I was skeptical. After 40 years in the Fishing industry, I had never heard or seen anything quite like this before. However, the idea of color changing baits fascinated me. Then the more I thought about it the more it started to make sense that they would catch more fish.

Cory Banford - Shootout Series President

Smartbaits claims its first official professional tournament win! Veteran bass fishing team of Tony Deboer, and John Horton win the Shootout Series event held on the Mississippi near Ottawa Ontario. This was Tony and John's first Shootout Series win, which is Canada's largest open series. Both these anglers are no strangers to winning tournaments, as their combined titles would be well into the 70's. What is special about this win was, they were using a few Smartbaits products.

Ron Wilson from WESTERN OUTDOOR NEWS recently tried some Smartbaits lures, what did he think of them?

Ron Wilson - WESTERN OUTDOOR NEWS

Tried a couple new baits from Canada at the pond today. Carl and I had 71 bass and 27 crappie! The baits were some soft plastic baits that changed colors with the water and weather temp.

Rapid Media Kayak Fishing - Fresh Catch: Smartbaits Lures

Unique water temp activated color-changing baits. When we first spotted Smartbaits at the 2013 ICAST convention in Las Vegas we were hooked. These lures change color depending on the water temperature - just like a real fish.

Quotes from Sammy Lee at fishing industry trade shows

"Fish see color", said Smartbaits representative Michael Dingman "and the unique chemistry in Smartbaits lures imitate wounded bleeding prey fish changing color at different water temperatures and depths. Predator fish hone in on those colors of vulnerable or injured smaller fish and attack. Smartbaits incite that attack. In cold deep water or warm shallow water, just one Smartbaits lure will change colors from chartreuse to red or watermelon to june bug to attract more fish to strike."
